The Viewpoint Of A Senior Citizen Number 0
Senior citizen number whatever shall be my label. Senior citizen with so much to think about that is who I am right now. My real name is irrelevant in the age of the young and the restless. My son is the one who recommended Steemit to me. He dared me to create an account. He wanted me to do this. I decided to do this for several reasons. My senior citizen pension is not enough to support my day to day needs and wants. I was searching for a way to earn as a senior citizen whatever. Everything about this is new to me. I don't know what to expect but at this point I have to make a monumental decision as to how I can earn using this Steemit thing. My son gave me a couple of pointers. He also said that blogging is a great way to keep my mind as sharp as a surgical blade. I want to stay sharp. I don't know for how long. Maybe I will get the hang of it. Maybe I can write once a month or twice a month. I still don't know. Too much uncertainty. I think I don't even care if I get an upvote. That will be a lie. I really need the extra money but how can I make it all work out.
I am a simple person. I always wanted to say that. This time I think of it as a form of catharsis. This blog as my son calls it is a labor of love. Like the image above which I got from Unsplash is what represents me in real life. I am useless. I am old. I am irrelevant. I am deprecated. I wish that all of us will feel this way. Greed is taking over. Selfishness is taking control of my life. To be honest I am too old to be behaving this way. Second childhood is my alibi. I guess.
