The meaning crisis

"fool's paradise" by Nostradamus, feat. The Simpsons

Technology evolved, so did the developed world. Goodbye family, the individual is king. Not that it asked to be.

They figured that few would raise a family when purchasing power is declining. Students can't protest because of the debt put onto them (see N. Chomsky). Therefore no political change can come from the bottom.

The only way to keep the system working with a lower purchasing power is to prevent men from raising families (see E. M. Jones). Women are made to feel empowered. Testosterone urges are managed through the wide availability of pornography and soy is omnipresent in canned foods for the same reason. The internet was presented as a way of keeping people in touch with each other, that has to be the deception of the century.

Token opposition is carefully planted and always keeps flirting with antisemitism for the sole purpose of providing standing deniability. Discredit the messenger to discredit the message.

There has been virtually no credible opposition to this trend for 40 years. Now tough luck asking for a break to assess the damage and make things more bearable on the 21st century man.

Sex tourism in now an industry. Relationships have become tokenized, decentralized, each and every interaction capable of being stored on a blockchain. Oh and forget interaction, it's contract now. A trove of information gathered by tech companies for an advertising market that conveniently justifies the monitoring of the masses. All thanks to a modern, democratic election process in case that rings any bells.

The essence of the average man's fight is to recognize where the systems failings are, by educating himself. The books written through thousands of years explain it all but who has time to read these days. The working week is precisely meant to give no time to think.

It looks like a dead-end. Or is it? If the Amish could preserve their way of life why not all of us? The key resides in the beneficial status given to religious organizations. They are allowed to exist relatively unhindered from the rest of the political show. Therefore a new branch of Christianity or other religion could see the light of day if a man just says so. And have at its very core a religious duty to trade and bank locally, maybe with neighboring communities, but still relatively secluded from the rest of the world.

Many self-claimed messiahs have abused others suffering and credulity to their own advantage through the same process. As tempting as it may be there are great men of conviction out there. If one day the local movement could gain momentum against globalization the individual would benefit immensely. Not as much in financial terms (although the odds are there) but rather in personal meaning and psychological well-being. When a man goes well he doesn't need porn or soy-laden food to behave peacefully. He doesn't commit acts of death and savagery, he takes care of his family. He doesn't give the fruit of his labor to faceless shareholders but shares it within his community. That alone would be worth considering should one claim to do a good job at managing people.
