Every single child who loves football wants to become Ronaldo, His style of playing, his artistic work with the ball, his incredible tricks, and amazing speed makes him one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Born in 1985 in Funchal Madeira, Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo started playing at a very young age of 12 when he was signed by Sporting CP. In his only second year of playing football, Ronaldo suffered the biggest setback of his life at the age of 14 when he was diagnosed with Tachycardia. Something that could have easily stopped him from playing for the rest of his life, but being a born fighter he underwent a laser operation at a young age and was successfully discharged within few days. He started with his daily training and resumed playing football only two weeks later since then there was no seeing back for this young boy who went from strength to strength.

In his early years, Ronaldo played in the Spanish Primera Liga where he impressed everyone with his skills, he caught the eye of many soccer fans and big names like Arsene Wenger and Alex Ferguson. But it was the year 2003, that changed Ronaldo's life - at the age of 18 he was signed by Manchester United with the transfer fee of £12.24 million, making him the most expensive teenager in the history of English Premier League. His style of playing was loved by every English man.
This was the beginning and there was no looking back after this, In his stay with Manchester United for six years, Cristiano Ronaldo became a hero and a rising superstar. In the year 2009, Ronaldo was signed by Spanish Primera Liga club - Real Madrid for the record transfer fee of £80 million. He justified his deal with scoring a goal in his very first game against Deportivo La Coruna. Ronaldo was always seen a danger man especially when it came to playing against arch rivals Barcelona.

Everyone knows Cristiano Ronaldo as CR7, 7 is actually his jersey number for Real Madrid which was handed over to him in 2010 after the exit of Spanish star Raul Gonzalez. This number proved to be a lucky mascot of the Portugal and Real Madrid striker.
