Why You Should Provide Value, Even If You Get NOTHING In Return.steemCreated with Sketch.

I'm amazed how using people has become so common in society.
You see lots of people date for Money or other things. You see those people who seem to just "Leach" Off of everyone, But in reality, they never provide any value for anyone. You may think that by taking advantage of people, You are winning in life. But it will catch up to you.

Why is providing value significant?

When you provide value to another person's life. You grow as a person. You may buy someone-someone groceries. And give them the groceries completely free, But your value as a person goes up. Your self-esteem may be boosted. And that person will never forget how good you were to them. Providing value isn't just good for the person receiving, But it's good for you too.

Why providing in Relationships helps you prevail.

Sometimes we date someone for a while, And things seem great. But after the whole honeymoon period. Things start to go downhill. You start to see the persons awful flaws.
After a while, you may notice that they aren't contributing to the relationship at all.
Maybe your girlfriend doesn't have a job; You pay all the bills. And she doesn't even help clean, cook, Or do anything else. She's pretty much just a dead weight taking up couch space.

Of course, You should try and work something out, And in the end, a breakup may be necessary If this behavior is repeated for a long period.

But did I waste what I invested into the relationship?

It's easy to feel this after a breakup. All that time, Money and overall value You invested into the relationship, Gone. Just like that.
Was it wasted?

No

If she sat around doing nothing. Shes going to have to work extra hard to provide value in her next relationship. She'll have to spend more resources than shes used to. And do a lot more than shes used to. At this point she may be so out of shape, She probably won't even do a good job. Which will make it harder for her to score a higher quality person.

While on the other hand, You invested a lot. You are used to treating women like queens. Your going to have a much easier time, finding someone that is much better quality. You are more likely to find someone that fully appreciates you. As long as you steer clear of other women like your ex LOL.

This is important in every aspect of life.

When you provide value, You get value. When I say providing value keep in mind. I'm not only referring to financial resources. It can easily be,

  • Your time
  • Your money
  • Your kindness
  • Your talents.
  • etc.
Everyone has something to offer in this world. It's unfair when people choose not to offer anything. It's selfish.
Don't let those people bring you down and change you into one of them. Stay who you are, But make sure you surround yourself with people who deserve you.

I agree you should provide value. But you also need to receive value because sadly there are users and takers that will take your time and never give back.

So you have to set healthy limits and choose who you give your time and value to.

YES! Receiving is important too!

Excellent, positive advice for anyone.

Great points. Just by helping someone we add value to life even if it does not make a profit for ourselves the other person will at least appreciate us more by it.

Yes Fully agreed hehe.

Great article.
We should always think of give, as much as we could.
In the end the Universe will reward us.
