Getting reviews on Amazon Is very important! It can mean the difference between your product selling well, And your product not selling at all.
Many customers rely on reviews for everything they purchase, Even if it's just a cheap item.
Set Up Your Amazon Profile!
Amazon has review profiles that are public, A tricky way of getting people to look at your stuff is by setting that up. And adding your products your "Favorite lists."
Whether it's an ebook, A physical book, Or whatever.
People can then see your collections of stuff.
Try to Review Items With Hardly Any Reviews
When you leave reviews on items that have no reviews, You'll get more exposure.
People will click on your reviews and may see your profile. They may see the products on your list, And choose to buy and review them. This may get you more sales. Try to do video and photo reviews, that help. People can upvote your review which can quickly get it to the top.
Ask For A review
Leave a note in your product or your book, Kindly asking for a review. Many customers don't think to do it. And you were asking will get them to. People love to give out their opinions.
Sometimes just asking for what we want in life, Makes it 10x easier to get it.
Sometimes to get reviews, You need to give reviews!
Give out free copies
Recently Amazon edited their review guidelines. You can't give out your products for a discount or free, In exchange for an honest review. (This doesn't apply to books) But you can still give out free copies, And you MIGHT get the reviews that you want.
This is a risk you may want to take. If your product is cheap it may be worthwhile.

These are great tips! It makes a lot of sense to be one of the first people to review an item since so many people will look at it afterwards. And free samples always have people coming back for more. And sometimes, asking is just the easiest way :)
