Hike #10 The Crazy CAVE/Wildflower/Cliff Trail
This is a trail I've hiked before, I was a little disappointed when I had to hike it again, Because the canyon I usually go to was full of people and I couldn't find a parking spot. Little did I know what I was about to experience. I found a small fork off the main trail. It was hardly visible. Normally I do not use "homemade" trails. But I had a good feeling about this one,And decided to go ahead and follow it.
I found a CAVE! I crawled into it a bit, But it went so deep I got a little scared and got out, I plan to go on this same trail again with a friend on Sunday and I will show you guys the whole cave. I Just didn't feel comfortable doing it alone.
I Love Spring
So many pretty yellow flowers! I kept following the homemade trail until I realized things were about to get tough.
The hill almost went straight up, and I relied on the trees to help pull myself up. I debated on turning back, But the trail was looking so gorgeous I couldn't stop myself.
I went high above on a cliff. It was weird the trail, Because it was homemade was totally empty. And I could see people hiking down below. Occasionally they would look up and see me, And I would see them pointing.
Once I got to the top, I climbed up some rocks to the most incredible view.
I was really scared because I hate heights, But I was in shock by how gorgeous everything was.
The homemade trail kept going up and up but sadly I had to go to my part time job soon, So I eventually had to go back down. I plan to go further up on Sunday with my friend. So you'll get a better view of that 🙂
This image in particular is absolutely stunning. The fact that there's no green vegetation on the trees, yet the very obvious, man-made path continues to carve through the path in a meandering, yet persistent way says so much about the impact we've had.
There's some great spots like this in Australia, too - but its difficult to try and wind back time and think of what it was truly like before humanity came along.
Well done @kaylinart. Your commitment to the hikes is impressive. This is a proof that determination really is a big factor for success. These are incredibly beautiful views. I look forward to seeing the inside of the cave on Sunday.
Thank you! I can't wait to show you guys how deep it goes. I love hiking so it's not too hard to be committed hehe.
This is one of my favorite parts about spring , hiking . I love exploring new places/ parks and jsut reaching the top feels great and especially the view !!
Right? it's the best hehe
That cave looks scary indeed, I would not go in there not even with a friend!
Right? I was afraid there could be a drop off, Or someone in there. So I didn't' dare.
What a find to decide on the new path and find a cool cave, can't wait to see it. Hopefully it's a cool cave! :)
I agree that spring is awesome. ;)
Hehehe Right? I Love spring! I love all the seasons except winter! They are always so pretty.
