One of the things that I like of my new employer (well new, almost about a year now already) are extremely keen on getting my training skills up to date.

Not becausw my skills are lacking, but they just value it a lot that everybody has enough options to get their knowledge up to par. A good thing I say!!

The first things in healthcare that always gets budgetted on when the money flow is slow is getting people into extra training, and when I look back over the past couple of years, the Caribbean didn't bring me a lot of refreshing and new skills. Low on the priority list, ya know!

No this isn't some futuristic alien that is coming for us all. This is a glass model of the cervical spine or easy said; the bones in your neck fixated with rods and screws. Cool stuff! Not if you are the patient that is, but as technical personel this is awesome stuff.

Back as a student every now and then, I appreciate it more and more because now mostly I am the person who is teaching myself. Better not to forget to have yourself full into the game!

If you ask me, it's time for a well deserved weekend beer now. Cheers guys!
