Having a lazy Sunday, Resting & Relaxing is what i am good at. 🤣🤣

Today has been a long long day, lazed around the house, made something for dinner then relaxed watching a couple of movies. I was going to spend some well earned time in the garden but Mother Nature had other plans for me, its been pouring down all day. I haven't been able to get out in the garden for a week with hubby being in hospital. The rain has come at the right time giving my plants a good watering saving me from doing it.

Hubby is off work for another week, he may take an extra week of to make sure he is healed properly, last thing we need is him lifting a heavy block and doing more damage. He works on a building site so he has to be fit when he goes back to work or he will be back in hospital. He is still getting the odd twinge around his bowels, he isn't out of the woods yet, another week off work might just be what he needs to heal. He has another appointment with the Surgeon in a few weeks to talk over what has happened and what will happen next as they still haven't found out why he was passing blood in the first place.

Our bodies are amazing what they can do apart from its our body but we haven't a clue what is going on inside, we need other peoples help. If only we knew what our bodies were doing.

Tomorrow he want's to go look around a couple of furniture shops, it will only be a couple , don't think he could manage much more,He won't be doing anything that will wear him out. We are desperate for new furniture as we are sitting on deckchairs. I think sitting on these horrible things is doing more damage as they really aren't very comfortable even when they are in the reclining position.

I bought these when we had a few sunny days so we can relax on the decking but since i have bought them all we have had is bad weather. They have come in useful whilst we decorate but we didn't expect hubby to be ill which has put us back quite a few weeks. Hopefully i find what i am looking for tomorrow so i can get them booked, get our new carpets booked so we can relax on something a lot more comfortable. The only time i am reasonably comfortable is when i am in bed, Maybe I should stay there.

Once the living room is done i am hoping to start on my bedroom, maybe will have to wait until after Christmas before starting that job as still trying to sell our antiques. I have been listing them on Ebay but now getting a bit fed up of Ebay charges and the hassle of packaging then taking to the post office. We are thinking about hiring a table at our local Antiques fair, we may then sell a bulk of items without all the hassle. Its only £36 for a 6ft table, OR maybe the sales on Ebay will pick up with us getting nearer to Christmas with people buying presents. Decisions Decisions.

I have had a lovely day doing just about nothing, now hubby is out of hospital its less hectic and the stress is gone, when we get our home sorted then i may just start feeling a bit better, wanting things done and not being able to do them causes me so much stress. There was a time where i could do just about anything.
