One potential problem.... Are the text of your post loaded by Markdown? Or are they in photos/graphics?
Photos and graphics are not written into the blockchain, but hosted. They MAY NOT be around 20 years from now. I would hate that your effort is lost because steemit.com or a photo hosting site drops them years later!!
The text is embedded in the actual graphics that I then just export into one jpeg. This is something that I have been wondering about such an approach! Had no idea and you're the only person who took their time to enlighten me :) Can't thank you enough @em3 Really good to know and changes my approach to how I will be handling visual content in my future posts. So the text stays on the block and the rest is layered atop of it. Got it. Is it possible to change the background color with markdown? That would solve this challenge partially.
There is probably a way....but I am still too new to markdown. And I understand that html coding can be used too, but also...not enough experience with it.
Well, I am happy to help...even though it presents new challenges...it is better to fix now. Wish I could help with the background. Your answer is out there, I am sure.
This was a moving post, I love listening to you speak to your future grown up son- what a cutie! I appreciate that one of the lessons you hope to instill in him is that we have to remember to focus on, and value what is real! Consumerism, and the drive to achieve what we are told is important, often drowns out the beauty in life. Compassion for yourself and others in your approach is gold :)
Since you asked at the end of your post this is a story I wrote yesterday about a Dwarf named Tsubaki yesterday, check it out if that's your kinda thing :)! Thanks for the awesome post!
Enjoyed reading about Tsubaki and was surprised by the sudden appearance of Don Juan! But that's how Don rolls I guess :) Thank you deeply for your kindness and appreciation of the post @amyf See you around!
So beautiful. This is so much of why we moved to Belize. We have struggled financially, pretty desperately to be honest, but I spend most of every day with my family. I get in the car maybe twice a week. I live in a shack, but I've got a jungle on one side, a river on another, and the sea on another. So many people ask when we're gonna head back to the US and make money and live a normal life. Um, never. No way, no how. I'm not going back to that bullshit. I do spend too much time on this tablet, though.
Solar radiating post! I am really proud of you guys and was very happy to read your comment. I support your decisions with all my heart and wish to see more stories like this from people around the world. That is a great move about Belize. All the best!
