I reached out to Steven Schuman for plagiarizing his artwork. Please just read, no upvotes. (Part 2 & Final Thoughts)
I wanted to create a new post to show his response. there was a lot going on in the other posts and I wanted to give everyone a chance to see his response. Please do not upvote this post. I just wanted to share his response with everyone. I will be sending him what I owe him. I am moving on from this topic after this. I have done what needed to be done.

No harm, no foul, I suppose. Just because it didn't turn out badly doesn't mean it couldn't, and some people will take this MUCH more seriously than others. It ultimately depends on what's at stake. Just wondering how much money was involved. I didn't follow you for very long (before I unfollowed you), so I don't have a good sense of the actual damages.
That's between me and Steven. I understand it could have been a lot worse and I am thankful that it wasn't.
I agree that it is between you two. I agree.... Being as it has become a thing on the platform, I would like to make a suggestion however.
Send back everything. I know in some of the instances it wasn't copied, but re-created work or inspired by without citing the inspiration source. It could be easy to say that doesn't deserve the entire reward for sure, especially since he is not asking for all of it.
Myself, after many years on this planet and a genuine attempt to be an honest person. I would send it all back for a couple reasons. The first is:
If I acknowledge what I have done was wrong, is it okay to keep some of the profit?
This question is more 'technical morality' for me... it has to do with the details and ultimately for me leads into #2
It's on the blockchain.
I admire you didn't vanish as it would be fairly easy to do, but you have decided to stay. Now because you have chosen to stay, how do you want this to play out? It's permanently part of your history... anyone can look and see what happened and how it played out. Personally I want you to be able to look back and defend yourself being able to say "Yeah, I fucked up... but I made it right" without any need for further remorse.
I tend to think worst case... and I want to act beyond that. Initially, let me tell you two things I read that I would worry about coming back on me:
I would like to send you the crypto-currency I made for pretending your art was mine.
This kind of ties in with the comment I am responding to, "that's between me and Steven." when in fact looking at the info that has played out so far I could pull a handful of posts and see exactly what amounts they finished at, a quick look at your wall for deleted and reasons given show about $200, if theres more that can't be edited due to passing payout limit, I don't care to look, but anyone can look
Not including that amount in the letter makes it look less sincere, saying crypto-currency and not revenue makes it look less sincere.
This apology is posted as much to us as it is to Steve. Apologize in a way that noone can attack you later for.
Apologize in a way that hurts... yet allows you to move forward free from this.
Cleve I plan to make everything right with Steven. You are thinking too hard into this. I have apologized, admitted I was wrong, reached out to him and am giving what is his to him. I know what I owe him and I will be giving it to him. My apology was as sincere as it could get and maybe I didn't word it the way you or everyone else would have but I am new to all of this. I have handled it the best I know how and am in no way taking the easy way out. I will give him everything that I owe him and that should be the end of this.
And just for the record it is crypto currency. Nothing I have made on STEEMIT has been turned to money. Everything is still either on my account here or on bittrex.

I used my first earnings from steemit to pay for our #trip! This included, gas for the truck, gas for the boat, food and drinks. I earned some steemit dollars from a post about donating my hair to cancer. I sold the steemit dollars for Bitcoin and then sent the Bitcoin to my bank account
Again, it's on the blockchain. I am not trying to be a dick about this...
