Success and Motivation: You Have to Love the Process
There are a number of lines in this short video that really get me. I've watched this video many times in preparing for training, sponsorship pitches, races - life in general.
My key take aways:
What you do when nobody is watching defines you. Life isn't just about the wins, but the process it took to get there.
In the wild, a Lion wont attack an injured gazelle - why? Because it loves the CHASE. I believe that to achieve success - its the chase we have to love... not just the eating. If you don't love the chase, change your situation.
At the beginning of the video there is a message that hits me hard, and I live by similar principles. If you only had 6 months to live, what would you change? Are you living your dream and getting what you want out of what you're giving your time for?
I personally put myself to a test on a regular basis, and that is - if your life story was a book, is that a book that you would actually read?
If not... pick up the pen.

It's 3am where Im at and my mind is wired with thinking of all the amazing possibilities ahead. It's been a long time since I've been so "in the now." I am not a spring chicken yet I am springing inside and living my desired future like it's happening right now. They say it's not the destination, but the journey...I stand by that in this 3D existence. It's what we came here for whether we r consciously aware of it or not. Thanks for the remider. Oh wow what an incredible comment and thank you for the insight @onntastic! I could not agree more my friend, living that desired future as if it's taking place is a sure way to get us there. Its so easy to do what we're doing simply because that's what we've been doing - a good hard shakeup now and again to get us on track is essential! I have a favourite quote from "The Zahir" - a Paulo Coelho book that says; it's time to stop being who we are and become who we're meant to be. So inspiring. I hope you got some sleep! Thanks again!

The process can be painful. It will push you to your limits. It will sharpen your decision making and strengthen your will power.
You invest as much time as possible to get where you need to be. It's true what they say about time being money. You put in the work, your returns will be great. If you don't, it won't be as great. You quit and it's the equivalent of putting your life savings in a pile and setting it on fire.
Sure, wins and reaching your destination is important. But those are byproducts to embracing the process.
