The Jockey Returns : Jockey's Cultural Adventures & Teaching Steemit To Some AMAZING New Steemians! =)
My dearest Steemian sisters and brothers your jockey is back on the Steemit horse! I have been away for a week or more indulging in my patented cultural adventures.
These adventures are almost always undertaken as solo missions and 90% of the time make me laugh my bottom off.... ;-)
Adventures Of The Cultural Kind...
I love adventure - I always have!
Since I was a teenager I have been rocking adventures around our amazing world. I have learnt so much from this process. I like to head out on the road-to-adventure without a plan in mind. Sometimes I find myself in another country!
I consider these to be my own cultural adventures and they are always extremely fun!
I rev up my motorbike and see where the adventure takes me. These adventures currently often involve sitting in the village with my Balinese friends or crawling the gutters until the early hours of the morning. Sometimes I will find myself drag-racing with the local Balinese teenagers. Other times I find myself sitting with strangers in crusty bars singing karaoke in languages that I don't understand!
My general good nature, ability to laugh and interact with people plus my street-smarts means I am always giggling and mostly safe! ;-)
Until now I have never posted about my adventures on Steemit but they are always fun and perhaps I should. I know many of you would enjoy them!
Bringing New Steemians Onto OUR Amazing Network!
In the last few weeks I have assisted some amazing people to join our Steemit family. All of these people are wonderful, intelligent and have a lot to offer us. I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to them. They all currently live in my village here on Bali.
- 1: @skyhooks - this spiritual and intelligent friend of mine has a very interesting life at the moment. After only a very few months into his first trip to Asia he is now having a child and will shortly be getting married to an Indonesian woman. He has some very interesting things to say. His recent post was picked up by the curation guild and I am very proud of him.

- 2: @ilovechocolate - is a multilingual designer friend of mine. She has a lot to say about healing and food and is always a pleasure to converse with. @ilovechocolate made this image for me and is available to design more for those of you who wish:
- 3: @ghostofisis - is a global traveller with stories of adventure and knowledge of the heart and spirit to share with us. I have never met someone who has been so prolific in their posts on Steemit from the first day! What a Steemstar!
All three of these amazing people are worth following!
As much as I enjoy teaching Steemit to such intelligent world travellers my heart desires to assist the poorest communities to break free from economic slavery using Steemit.
I continuously try encourage Indonesian friends of mine to access the network and hope shortly to introduce you to some of my Indonesian crew! =)

Hey Jockey! Oh, yeah. The traveling, adventurous spirit is the ONLY way to fly for us free-spirited renegades. My life only TRULY started when I made the evolution from motorbike to mountain bike, and started rolling around the globe experiencing BOTH the good times AND the ordeals. It's what makes us the visionaries that we are - that is, the "good 1%". Meeting people like you and @samstonehill and others is ANOTHER fine component to this adventure. Here's an idea : why don't you make one of these posts WEEKLY, so that we can follow what you are doing AND check out the profiles of the new people you are bringing onto SteemIt. I would SURELY read each one I come across...

Of course you have conditions on your steem tips, which are only to mentor a couple of locals in the hope they don't have to slave as much for a low wage and can find a voice and an income on steemit @diannafirefly is an Indonesian with an interesting poetic style of writing, of course English is not her first language and she makes the odd mistakes that are not only forgivable but rather adorable and add to the uniqueness of her writing.
