Would you tell me about the most stressful thing that happened to you last week?!

Hey, how are you? Yes I am trying to interact with you! From the moment I started with steemit, I am following the evolution via steemworld.org which provides a wonderful set of data to monitor.

However, analytics can only take me so far.

To be honest, it has been little bit exciting to see some interactions happening in real time with steemworld.org, but what I really enjoyed is to develop new friendships sharing passions and commitment, such as with @schamangerbert, or with @alexandravart, but also many other new friends or in beginning which both really bring me to become closer to a life in which I can respect the values I believe in.

Unfortunately, I have the impression, I experienced only a few of them.

Maybe because I am feeling a bit shy, however, I really wish to connect and meet more the people behind the screen. So, listening to the advices of my friends, I thought to publish this little post hoping to get to know you better. By asking you what was the most stressful thing that happened to you last week, maybe we will realize than we are sharing more in common than appears and/or hopefully start to get to know each other better! =)

However at the opposit of mine, hope your last week was not stressful,
I am looking forward to read from you!

With a lot of love,
Jean

This last week was whole a very stressful experience. I had an unexpected group work, which I only had one week to get ready and it should be a very creative oral presentation for the whole class. The preassure of the few time to prepare everything was added to the fact that each member of the group had a different work style and different ideas that were not compatible. This lead to imbalances inside the group in which some members did everything and others did nothing, arguings and almost sleepless nights to finish everything in time. I think we could have done a much better work if there was more cooperation and open mindedness about one another's ideas and this thought left me very frustrated. Lesson learnt, we must choose our job partners (and in every other field of life) wisely and try to face the frustration that comes along with mistakes with acceptance that we can not control everything that goes wrong.

Good morning @CarinaLopes, thank you for sharing your stressful moment with us!

Yes, cooperation is a real challenge and could become more and more i we are all staying too much individualist. Choosing our job partners is a priviledge, I wish you can succeed in this, however, even choosing carefully and working with the most awesome people can also lead to failure or crisis, I think the most important and the real challenge is to keep in mind is how everyone in the group can really make her talent valuable for the success of the common vision or project. But just this alignement is a prodigious performance. So you can I guess already consider having been cooperating even leading to such result, it is already a big success, as it will enable you to select more carefully in the future ;-) As you say, lesson learnt, and the second part about resilience and lexibility is maybe the most important factor of succees. ;-)

Hope you are better and feel better prepared now and you'll enjoy future cooperation!

The most stressful situation I experienced last week was on Friday evening. My guest Elias just arrived. In the middle of the check in showing him how the kitchen works he told me that he maybe forgot to turn off his own hearth in Switzerland. This I never experienced so far, so I didn't know how to react. I advised him to call somebody, but he finally decided to fly back to his place immediately. When he was back in Switzerland, he wrote me that everything was fine and came back on the next day.

What can we learn out of his story? Ask a friend when you are travelling to take a key of your apartment. If there is something happening you can rely on your friends. ;)

Ohh the poor man, he went in a huge stress, I wouldnt like to worry for the security of my house! I am glad he ound all his things and home safe!

Thank you for your sharing! We think we know everything while reading the posts of our friends and connections, but we never really know how much stress they are going through!

Yes relying on friends and neigborhood is important in terms of creating a trustful environment in which we can evolve feeling more secure or confident!
