Dear friends of steemit, I want to share with you this beautiful story that I found on the web, it is a legend of Mexico City, it is an arrogant cougar, it makes life impossible for others, tired of their arrogance they decide to teach it a lesson.

A long time ago, on the side of a coquettish Mexican village, there was a small jungle where a strong black puna lived as night, feared for its fierceness and highly respected by the animal kingdom.

Knowing that he was feared, abused this condition, made fun of the other animals giving them great scare, skillful to climb the trees from there jumped on the animals that ran away fleeing, this to the mischievous cougar was very funny.

The antics of the puma had tired the whole animal kingdom, their jokes were unbearable, especially since it could not be trusted that it was always a joke, the blood of a predator was running through their veins.

One morning running through the quarries, I roll the nest of a small bird, disarming it completely. This situation angered the little bird.

Why do not you look where you're going? Look what you did! The little bird said very angry.

What did you say? Asked the cougar without being able to believe that a small bird was facing.

These words to the cougar made a lot of fun. You're crazy, little bird! I'm going to tell you that I did not hear anything, do not interrupt me any more! Turning around as if nothing had happened. Making the nest or talking!

This cougar attitude caused a lot of anger to the little bird, could not avoid challenging the cougar saying.

You who believe that you are superior to everything, that you fear nothing, I challenge you to fight, I wait for you at dawn right here, bring your militants and I will bring mine and we will see who the victory is

Ha ha ha! You're a crazy bird! See you when dawn, there you will learn what respect is! Said the puma mocking, knowing that victory awaited him.

At dawn both troops were present at the designated place, the cougar brought all the felines, the small but astute bird brought a swarm of wasps.

The troops were confronted, the hatred and fury of the felines could be perceived, all still watching the reaction of the other contingent.

The cougar accustomed to the bloody battles had gained much experience, at the right moment gave the order of attack, I ask the rest of the felines to kill the bird and the small wasps.

The bird saw the display of the felines, prepared their troops of wasp for the attack, encouraging them not to be afraid, told them that this battle was won. Then he gave the order to attack.

The felines believed themselves to be victorious, that small insects could deal with them, regardless of the venomous spikes of the wasps.

The two troops were in the middle of the field, the cats with claws and teeth, the wasps with their fast flights and their poisonous needles.

A hundred wasps for each feline attacked all together, punctured again and again on animal hides, the poison soon made effect on the felines, the pain was very intense that they had to flee.

The imminent defeat was present in the felines' field, the fortified hornets followed at a slow pace but without pause, the animals fled, retreating as far as they could, they were trapped between a siege and wasps, when the felines Wasps struck harder than the first time.

The little bird next to its wasp army stood in front of the cats ready to attack, so the night came and with it, cold, thirst and hunger, the cats were weakened, the cougar was defeated.

The puma accepted the defeat, admitted that the bird's army was better, much humiliated under his head, the bird flew through the air with joy, deeply thanked the wasps, his victorious help.

The bird with a lot of pride said to the cougar, I hope this is a good lesson, strength, size, arrogance does not make you better than the other, however small you are, united we can be very large.
