Congratulations to our 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr Mahathir. 

It is my honor to have this photo with you and your wife, Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah.

I do believe that many of you will notice the latest news in Malaysia. And yes, you are right. Malaysia just had a general election (GE14) on 9 May 2018. Malaysians are very happy with the results of this GE14. Pakatan Harapan (after so many years) finally become the Malaysia government. Many of my foreign friends asked, "Why are Malaysians so happy?"

Reasons:
1.  Barisan Nasional is defeated

Barisan Nasional had been governing Malaysia for TOO many years. Due to the government corruption, Malaysia had been "poor" for a long time. Malaysia was not developed well under the hand of Najib.
And now... Tun Mahathir (Pakatan Harapan) successfully defeated Najib (Barisan Nasional). Malaysia will be rebuilt mightily by Pakatan Harapan in future.

2. No race, only Malaysian

One Malaysia Spirit is revived. During the old time of general elections, there was racism between Chinese, Malay and Indian. Many violence between races were occurred in Malaysia history. The Malaysian Chinese deeply wanted to change the government. Races were divided very clearly. Malay, Chinese and Indian hated one another during the time of Najib's governance. However, to my surprise, there is no racism during GE14 on 9 May 2018. All races (Malay, Chinese and Indian) were united as one to fight against corruption and dirty tactics of Barisan Nasional. 

3. World Record

Tun Dr Mahathir is a World Record. He is acknowledged as Number 1 Eldest Prime Minister in the whole world. He is 93 years old in 2018.

4. 1997 Asian Financial Crisis

Tun Dr Mahathir once again becomes Malaysia Prime Minister. He used to be the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia. During his governance, Malaysia was once saved in time of  1997 Asian financial crisis. Many praised Tun Dr Mahathir for realizing the factors in the IMF prescribed policies of cutting government expenditures during recessions and restoring the banking system with government funds. Now he will sure know what's best for Malaysia in future to rebuild the ecomony. 

5. 2020 Vision

When Tun Dr Mahathir was the 4th PM of Malaysia, he talked about 2020 vision which would bring Malaysia to one of the finest countries in the world. As for now, he is the 7th PM of Malaysia, he will need to finish what he had started in 1991.

I wish Pakatan Harapan the very best to bring Malaysia into the next level. And I hope Pakatan Harapan will not let Malaysians down. I believe they will deliver as what they have promised us, and also wipe out all corruptions in Malaysia. 

He asked, "Jack, many will fly back to their hometown just to vote. Will you return to Sabah and vote too?"
I replied, "Yes, of course. This is my country, and my pride."
