Rodomontade Verson 1- Field of Dreams

in #life7 years ago (edited)

What now? Shall I cling on to your wicked ways? Tell me what it bears? Tell me?!

I've seen the callous hands of my people, wrinkled and tired,

they've cried in the wilderness, in the field of dreams,

in the land they dream to be tilled with love and hope,

their grip are wearied, their feet are worn out,

they labored with sweat and blood plowing without  surety of their own!

Are we imperil  once they ceased to exist?

They bleated among the sheep in the streets, roads and bridges,

and the ground awakens the  long lost souls that feed our gob!

The roar of thunders shaken aloud that scatters the four corners of their senses,

the scorching blood scatters in the midst of madness, it kindles the heart of the nation!

It spread across like  scoop, the wasted was front news like watching a carcasses of raven!

But who's to denounce? Do we condemned the power of the class? Do we loath ascendancy?

Come now and let us reason together, together we reason for calmness, and healing.

They are footing of the land that binds our blood to its roots, the meal on the table,

they are lonely workers of the land whose heart are benevolent, meek and resourceful

they are there to shield with their lives the base of this nation,

the UNSUNG HERO OF THE LAND!

We have a house at the farmland, so I can genuinely relate to this. Living a simple life, working way too hard and sometimes earning a little. The best part, they rarely complain. If urban people can only live these farmers live...I don;t know :D Sometimes we complain about everything else...phones, clothing you tell me ;) GOod one, Kuya!

Lol. Tsk. If urban people will try to work in a farmland. I doubt if they will last for an hour working on it!

If urban people worked the farm, I am pretty sure the world would starve to death!

And that's an awful way to die!

Indeed! Let's keep them off the farms!

nice piece, I love it. keep it up
