Are Men struggling to find their positions in this fast-changing world?

For a long time, the world has considered Men to be a primary influence on the direction of a society and also the key to building strong infrastructures, stable families and secure nations. However, in this fast-changing world, men are losing their identity. If you visit prisons, you will discern that ninety-five per cent of the prisoners are men, in addition, they are now drowning in alcohol and drug abuse. This is really dreadful because it is causing confusion on women and families.

I absolutely think Men are struggling since the old notions are in contrast to the new notions. Back in the day, men were deemed as protectors, breadwinners but at the moment there is an equal partnership so the women can provide for themselves as well as defend their families and this is making the men feel women don't need or want them any more. literally, men are at crossroads they are not sure if they should hold on to old norms or follow the path paved by the change.

In my mind, Men's identity is not supposed to be attached to their roles but they must have an innate purpose that drives them. Most men especially in Africa they are living a purposeless and rootless life so this is pushing them to live in subculture drug gangs. Clearly, a real man must know who he is and live in that reality.
