If you don't want to put your face here, that's okay, if you don't want to tell people too much about yourself, that's okay too. But those are the two best ways to get noticed. You don't have to write the introduction post right away. You can, If you want, post something else first and after a while do the introduction post. But don't wait too long. Most important thing is that the text is interesting. Tell us what you think if you don't want to tell those usual things like how old you are, where do you live, do you have pets... You know, stuff than some find incredibly interesting, but at the same time some find it too ordinary.
Here are few examples. My advice is, more than 200 words and at least one photo to get peoples attention.
