Welcome to this generation where the only news that make it far is if it is about a celebrity or a popular figure but an average man's news will be at a corner. Recently, a 60-year old man raped a 12-year old girl, everyone was pumped but the story changed immediately a celebrity came out that she was raped 17 years ago and suddenly, everybody forgot the innocent girl. What if the celebrity had to wait till she was popular to tell her story because she felt nobody would listen?

Can we see reasons why victims don't come out anymore? The society only wants to read about their idols and celebrities even if they are in the news for the wrong reasons. No celebrity came out for the 10-year old but thousands of them voiced out their opinions when it was a co-star. So many things are wrong these days and it hurt to even write about it. The media should be the voice of the masses, a place where their voices are heard not a column but a front seat in everything but the readers' choice have changed the publisher and media house interest. If the society doesn't accept the masses, how do they come out to seek help in distress? The rich will just keep tramping on the poor and nothing will be done till we all die and rest.

Before you login to that social media account and claim it is yours, be careful how bad you trash other persons there. If the masses can't be united with one voice then we will continually be swept under the carpet. Let us lend our voices to people that seek help so they can get what they need. Celebrities are doing fine and we need to leave their lives alone for a while and push ourselves up. We can be celebrities too by helping others and our names spelt out in the newspaper. It isn't about the money, house and cars, impact lives and help people in need and you are our celebrity.
