A lot of people would agree with you but my wife sees her holiday starting after she shuts the front door and gets into the car. There is also the travel to the airport and staying the night before a flight is also a part of our holiday
You do have that holiday feeling after closing the door ; but i have learnt that going to and from the airport were also tiring not hassle-free.
