People's Obsessions with Mobile Phones

Once upon a time we used to talk to each other.

YES.. Actually talk to each other.

Not any more.. Now we prefer to talk to someone else or text rather than Talk with the person we are actually with.

Everywhere you look these days people are on their mobile phones.

They are obsessed with looking at it . Texting uncontrollably, and always checking their emails continuously.

It's a disease and its getting worse.

I thought what's the worst scenario to happen when you are on a mobile phone...

Oh my God I've Lost Signal.. What do I do..

Is this really happening .. I can't connect . I must move now to get a signal .

Bit worrying isn't it, but True.

You can't get on a train or a plane without someone sitting beside you texting or plugging in their ear pieces.

At traffic lights when people are driving.

Look through your rear view mirror and all you see is people staring down into their laps. You know what they are doing and they know what they are doing, but they don't think about the fine or the consequences if an accident occurred.

You walk down a street and some idiot is staring at this piece of metal in front of him transfixed that this is the most important thing in his life . You have to move to avoid him bumping into you as he is totally preoccupied with his phone.

This is 2016..

At every conceivable opportunity that Mobile will come out..

It has Too.. Because you can't control your behaviour any more.

You are being controlled and that Mobile Phone will Win.

Out comes your Mobile, In queues, at the Bus Stop, in Hospitals , at Train stations , in Airports ,on the plane and then on holiday where you can check your phone every 20 seconds while sunbathing that someone has sent you another text.

I think people are getting withdrawal symptoms if they cant check every every few minutes

At night all you see is lights flashing at tables . No talking, but heads turned down staring at their most valued possession

Their Mobile Phone..

Walking While Texting

I now see families out at dinner in a restaurant and once again out comes the phone . You have company as you are sitting with all of your family but No..

You must Text ..

You must email and that's all of you .

Now we have 4 members of the same family instead of talking to each other they are all self obsessed with that metal object in front of them.

HOW SAD HAVE WE BECOME..

Should we not be taking stock of our lives
