The King Or The Slave
THE KINGS
Throughout history, Kings and royals alike are remembered because they are responsible for the shape and outcome of our world today. The title "King" is really a big deal and the heaviest burden in a monarch. We are familiar with the duties of a King and his prestige. But we fail to be reminded of what comes from his actions and deeds. Similarly, he is very much responsible for all the fate of his subjects. Kings are made to lead forward. Though they may be individually powerful and influenced, they are the ones most prone to misfortune. Therefore, he should be aware of his qualities of a king, a leader and more importantly a Man for his subjects.
THE SLAVES
The lowest class bounded to servitude to their master. Servants and slaves are different yet both share their same purpose. They are the ones who Work as "Hands" of the king. They serve to help, to protect, to maintain and act on the words of their master. They might be believed to be simpletons who blindly follow anything their superior says. But they only do it because they do not have a choice and nor do they have any idea how to survive. So they could only follow the superiority of whom they believe in. Those people who wish to serve also devotes loyalty even at the cost of their life. That is what is meant to have a purpose in their life or fulfilling duty in order not to let their close ones suffer.
MY THOUGHTS
Today topic was intended for you readers. All of you are well-versed of what a king and a slave are. But do you know what do you want to be?
Being a king is being a leader and you are responsible for your deeds and the people who believe in you.
Being a slave is to serve, live, be deserving of worth. But it all comes down to surviving at the end of every day.
Both are preoccupied and prioritize their goal. And I see it no different to each other. To answer the question, it always depends on how you value the role given to you.
Slaves can rise to create better ways to live and by giving their all, they progress. The same goes for the kings. Great Kings are remembered for their deeds and because of their schemes, the future is shaped. And together, they can defeat "DEFEAT" and "DEATH". Hence they live on.
Here is a phrase that backs these thoughts:
"To lead as a Leader is to first learn how to serve as a Servant"
How can you lead if no one hasn't even the foggiest idea how to serve? Let alone why.
We are people with "Freedom" as power. Too much of it is Chaos and Anarchy.
We are also Kings/ Leaders with the power of "Will". So we are accountable and responsible for the ones before us and the ones after us.
It is our duty to remember and utilize what our past knowledge and to be future knowledge, all for the sake of tomorrow.
I'd like to serve because I have much to learn.
What is your answer?
Thank You for your time.
I think a king needs to experience of a servant before he becomes a king. unless he or she experiences doing many things for other people, nobody could believe him or her. as far as a company boss is concerned, he could't run a company if he has no experience that he has worked for a company , being scolded by a boss.
Yes, exactly my point. I did experience such leaders myself (once upon a time). They always blame every after a failure.while they do not know how themselves.
Really outrageous.
@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
