Even with Steem Price Down - Will Always Continue to Post on SteemIt
Yes, the overall crypto market is still down.
Yes, the price of Steem and SBD aren't where we all would like it.
But yes, we are here on SteemIt because we all want to be right? I hope so.
With the steady price decline of Steem and SBD ... it's interesting to see who's stayed with Steem and continued to post content.
Back in January, during the price hype across the board, there was lots of interest in Steem, but the majority of those people flocking to SteemIt were there in hopes to jump on the boat with the huge price spike in Steem and SBD.
Now price as low as it was around October 2017 ... and no interest ... very typical and very predictable human nature.
Today, I went up a notch on the reputation score from 66 to now 67.
Thanks to everyone who's supported me.
How's SteemIt impacted me?
It's gotten me to be more:
A. Consistent - With the consistency to post daily ... I'm able to see through to the end on any projects I take on. Yes, in a weird subconscious way, I'm not just doing half-ass work in my real life anymore.
B. Writing - I never really enjoyed writing. I'm more of a visual artist. But with SteemIt, going along with the first point of consistency, I've been writing daily, which then in turn, helps me get used to writing even though once upon a time, writing just was the hardest thing for me to do. But they say, if you brush your teeth daily, you don't even think about it. Same with writing, if you do it every day, you don't even think about it anymore.
C. New Innovations - And of course, SteemIt was on the forefront of utilizing the blockchain to change the way we blog and interact with other people. This is how it should be, where content is decentralized and not owned or controlled by a major corporation like Facebook, YouTube, etc. It's nice to see all of the offshoot projects that Steem world has created.
I'm personally still figuring out how I can contribute to the Steem world ... but would most likely like to collaborate or help out with the "artist" world to fully utilize the Steem platform.
So even though Steem and SBD prices are down real low ... are you sticking with SteemIt?
Great post. If it was making Steem, that kept me here, I would have left long ago. Of course I had a dopamine dynamite brain implosion when I looked at my account one day a while back and it was at almost $700usd after I hadn't written anything or even logged in for months as I was on a "technology fast" as part of a long term Biohack last year...I think that those that follow suite and just keep posting and using it consistently, will be rewarded when they go down forever on the blockchain as pioneers of this new technology. Yeah! My upvote nudged you up a cent...it's happenings more often..just like it said in The white paper way back when I read it before signing up . #kaizen

Yeah me too steemit has given way to structuring the mind & finishing projects. Soul grateful for this plateform!
