I and my Friends Recalled about the Shows we Watched during Childhood (PART II)

in #life8 years ago (edited)

This is the second part of the whole series of presenting you the similar shows that I and my friends watched during childhood. The first part covered Mickey Mouse, House of Mouse, Tom and Jerry, Justice League, Teen Titans, Codename: Kids Next Door, Untalkative Bunny, and Kim Possible.

So I and my friends recalled about the shows that we watched when we were still kids. To my surprise, we had a lot in common given that we were so far away from each other - like, hundreds to a thousand kilometer/s away. The genre widely varies which includes cartoon, clay animation, anime, live action, and some others I can't identify, however what I would only be able to tell you now are some of the #cartoons. I don't think that I could fit all of them here hehe. And I'm also a bit time-constrained.

Without further ado, below is the next set:

Looney Tunes
It is a cartoon series that presents an ecosystem of animals comprising of a bunny named Bugs Bunny, a duck named Daffy Duck, a pig called Porky Pig, a human named Elmer Fudd, a bird named Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, the Tasmanian Devil or Taz, Marvin the Martian, Speedy Gonzales, Wil E. Coyote, the Roadrunner, and many others. This cartoon series shows the everyday lives and funny interactions among its funny characters.

The Roadrunner Show
It is a special show based from two characters of Looney Tunes - The Roadrunner and Wil E. Coyote. Now there are a lot more of this type where the characters come from Looney Tunes which I couldn't mention for not having memories about them. Much like Tom and Jerry, the Roadrunner Show has a chase theme. Their difference is that the Coyote chases the Roadrunner for food and the scale is much larger - a desert. Also, the Coyote is focused on building ingenious traps (which often fail hahaha) while Tom and Jerry is more focused on playing tricks with each other and sneaking.

The Woody Woodpecker Show
It is a show that depicts the life of Woody the Woodpecker and encounters with his neighbor named Wally Walrus, a vulture, and others. At times, Wally would try to win over anything on Woody whenever the latter steals something of worth for the former i.e. the attention from neighbors. In most cases, Woody wins.

Powerpuff Girls
It's a cartoon of girl superheroes Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. I think almost everyone of my age never missed to see at least an episode of this show. It has been played for so long, and I heard that there are some cartoon channels that still include this in their time slots. Not to mention the different versions and generations created based from it. Powerpuff Girls shows the child life of the three girls who came to existence through an accident in a laboratory experiment. But mostly, it's about their daily battles with the villains and saving their city - Townsville.

Totally Spies
Totally Spies is a spy show featuring high school girls Sam, Alex, and Clover, and their boss named Jerry. Most memorable aspect in this show is their set of innovative but girly gadgets, which adds emphasis about the whole point of having girl undercover agents. In the show, the girls deal with villains who were transformed due to their dark pasts or a collateral damage caused by the spy agency.

Totally Spies

Martin Mystery
It is a sci-fi adventure show featuring Billy the Martian, Diana Lombard, Java the Caveman, and the main man, Martin Mystery. The show is on solving mysteries based on science or science fiction such as aliens, unknown creatures or monsters, ancient architectures, and the likes. This show has similar animation style with Totally Spies in that there are also innovative and unique gadgets that fit to the characters.

"Are you afraid of the dark?"!!! That show is great too! I remember them always throwing a pile of rocks on the campfire after telling their ghost stories. XD Those were great memories :)
And yes, Rugrats. I've also seen some of its episodes. It was fun.
Uhmmm.. I can't seem to remember any of the other shows you mentioned. But it feels so nostalgic going back to those memories :)

Just imagine how much nostalgia we had when I and my friends shared about these. We were like 7 people brainstorming XD hehe

Is this real? Am I really having my first potential payout?
I didn't expect this n.n
Thank you so much to whoever curated my work. You're cool!
