I think many of your statements concerning our generation are right but the way I see it, it's less a problem of managing relationships than coming to desicions in general. As you have already mentioned we always claim better conditions, experiences, contacts... we avoid making important decisions such as choosing a job or just a city to study. Although there is talk of mobility and unlimited chances we bound ourselves in escaping from decisions. Nevertheless I think that it's also a kind of achievement of our time that we are enabled to do what we want and to care of our thoughts and feelings. Maybe it's more a problem of generally not-knowing what to do than a sign of narcism or egocentrism. Don't you think that too many options can overcharge young people a lot? Don't get me wrong - I really think that everyone should be responsible for her/ his decisions regardless of whether he or she is twenty, thirty or fifty. In the end we all have to think about our actions and we have to live with the consequences.
