The time of human life, factors that have allowed our domain as a species

For some, life can result in a very short period of time, for others life can be so long as to beat the age record. The time of life is a factor that is combined with a great variety of circumstances, elements and situations, which, for the most part, can not be controlled, but they can use other factors to have a longer life time.

Human intelligence has been the key to the success of humanity, it has given us superiority over all species, dominion, control, and power. This important evolutionary factor has been very favorable for our proliferation as a species and to enjoy a longer life. Although there are several theories that claim that humanity only exists by works of celestial or extraterrestrial beings, it can not be denied that the way in which all the physical, biochemical and motor systems of our bodies work are simply amazing. And whatever the way in which the existence of humanity was conceived, it represents a miracle of life and a great fortune for us as a species.

I am a supporter of the knowledge provided by the different sciences, I see science as the most reasonable way to respond to all physical events that may occur. Without science, the world would be full of people dedicated only to worshiping invisible beings, and perhaps we would not have achieved the advances that we have today.

There is no doubt that humanity has had an advantage over all other species. Since prehistory the human species had the ability to communicate, stay in a pack and take care of each other (behavior similar to modern apes). While other species were more concerned about their individual survival and away from theirs. Another feature that undoubtedly resulted in a superior advantage was our size and our hands. Having an intermediate size allowed us to shelter from the weather, predators and survive with less food than would be needed by a larger living being, it also helped us to be superior to smaller animals, even facilitating feeding them more efficiently what a big animal would do.

The greatest evolutionary advantage of all that allowed us to ensure our perpetuity, was undoubtedly our hands. Being the first species to develop the capacity to take objects and manipulate them opened a great window of possibilities and allowed to make possible everything that exists today. While primitive humans experimented with the objects they could take, they learned new things each time and in the long run allowed them to create weapons with which they could defend and hunt. Use the skin of animals to protect themselves from the cold and survive abrupt changes in temperature. Build shelters for the protection of all types of threats.

Being able to experiment with tools and all kinds of objects allowed humans to develop a larger and more complex brain. This in turn triggered a continuous development of all kinds of skills and the discovery of new things that further favored the growth of human capacity.
