Focusing on the not yet develops a mindset that enables us to see all we do as a growth opportunity.

Our thoughts about goals, and the options available to help us accomplish them, are what determine our chances of success.

The size or complexity of a goal is not what decides the odds of you achieving it. And though some goals may be beyond your current level of skill knowledge or confidence. These are not what cause you to succeed or not.What causes you to achieve your goals in just about anything in life is your ability to lay hold of the not yet. It’s in focusing on the not yet, that you develop a mindset that helps you to see everything you do as an opportunity for growth.

In focusing on the not yet, we see that our current reality doesn’t have to be our future one, and that with faith, and a recognition of our ability to choose something different, we’re capable of shaping a new reality.

For example, if you were asked to play a piece of music on the guitar without having any previous experience, the current reality would be that your level of skill would be insufficient to fulfill the task.

Success in life depends on patience and perseverance. If you are honest with your work, you will get success but when, this is unknown. Here comes the concept of patience and perseverance. Many people quit early and are called failures. That is failure. Quitting means you finally failed. Success can never be dead. If you have infinite patience and perseverance, success will never ever die. That's the entire reality.

My grandfather used to say success comes through 3 ways:

Hard Work

Most successful people belong to this category, they work really hard, but it’s not easy to maintain this enthusiasm to wards your work unless you are really passionate about what you are doing, that’s the reason why most successful people are so passionate about their work.

Intelligence

The second way to become successful is through intelligence, but this doesn’t mean you won’t have to work hard, it’s just that you can reach the destination little earlier than the sucker who is working his ass off.
