I love that you take on cliches like that. So sick of hearing nonsense platitudes that mean nothing. I don’t think its possible to encapsulate life in a clever saying.

haha you're totally right. Life is so complicated you need like 2,000 cliches to hang out at a party together to even maybe encapsulate it. And even then, the cliches would probably just get drunk and it would be awkward and life would escape un-encapsulated still.

My favorite is when you find two cliches that contradict themselves:
Example:
The pen is mightier than the sword .... Action speaks louder than words
Example 2
Absence makes the heart grow fonder ..... Out of sight out of mind
Omg yes!!! Those last 2 ones drive me nuts...'cause I'm always wondering...which one is it??? I think it just depends on the situation lol
