You are very perceptive to the lessons that appear in life. So many people never think to look for those important lessons and they often end up doing the same things over and over for 40+ years always wondering why they never got lucky.

True. As it has its benefits it has its own shortcomings too. Often during failures people like me endup over thinking the situation.
