Since I finished university two years ago I have applied for different vacancies but no luck in getting one. Then I thought starting a little business of my own. Am not that guy that has so much fund and I decided to start a little business that the capital won't be much and the running cost won't be much. Snail Rearing then came to my mind. I don't know much about it, but went on Google to get idea of how to be successful in it.

I saw how different people built houses for the snails, due to low capital available, i built a small size.

I paid a carpenter to build it for me. Pictures above show the process of the building.

After the construction of the house was completed, I poured black sand in it so that the snails can lay eggs and feel at home. I feed them with vegetables. I bought 30 Giant African land snail (Achatina species) for a start and see how it goes. I plan to make it bigger as time goes on and when I have the financial capacity to make it bigger.

Pictures above show when I have put the snails in the house and a selfie I took with them.

I still need support especially advice on how I can be very successful in the business. Please share with me in the comment section. Thanks.

A good start there. They need to be fed with feeds as well. There is a formula to aid their growth and shelling. Always remove leftover meals from the pen house. Snails are clean animals.
The sand should be heated to kill all microbes to prevent the snails from attack. The sand is changed regularly too. My little contribution, wishing you all the best @gallantmayor

Thanks very much. I will take note of all these, didn't even know most of these. Please do you know the formula? And, how will I know they don't have eggs or babies in the sand when I want to change it?
