Top 10 of the best cities in the World for 2017!

More and more people in the world live in cities. This is the trend that has been steadily sustained for years, and in the coming decades large cities are expected to grow bigger and to become more overcrowded.

With the ever-increasing globalism, however, one can afford to travel and choose where to live. This makes some cities much more attractive destinations for life, work and education.

It is these factors that are surveyed in the Economist magazine's annual index of the best cities to live in.

As every year, the index measures cities by over 30 factors, grouped into five main categories - security, culture and the environment, education, health and infrastructure.

Thus, each city is judged by these factors, and the assessment can be acceptable, tolerable, inconvenient, unwanted or unbearable. For qualitative indicators, a rating is awarded based on the judgment of internal analysts and collaborators in the city.

Thus, all cities receive a total score of 1 to 100, 1 is considered a city that is totally intolerable, and 100 - ideal.

So without further ado here are the top ten of the best cities to live in in 2017:

10. Hamburg, Germany

Hamburg is the city, which is closing the top 10 with a total score of 95 points. They are broken down into the following categories: "Security" - 90; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 93.5; "Education" - 91.7; "Infrastructure" - 100.

9.Helsinki,Finland 

Helsinki, the capital of Finland collects a total of 95.6 points. They are broken down into the following categories: "Security" - 100; "Health" - 100; "Culture and the environment" - 88.7; "Education" - 91.7; "Infrastructure" - 96.4.

8.Auckland, New Zealand

This New Zealand City receives a total score of 95.7 points, allocated respectively to: "Security" - 95; "Health" - 95.8; "Culture and the environment" - 97; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 92.9.

7.Perth,Australia 

This is one of three Australian entries in the top ten and has a total score of 95.9 points. They are allocated accordingly: "Security" - 95; "Health" - 100; "Culture and the environment" - 88.7; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 100.

6.Adelaide,Australia

Australia with another strong presence in the list. The breakdown by categories is the following: "Security" - 95; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 94.2; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 96.4. 

5.Calgary,Canada

As the Australian cities this is of three entries in the top 10 for Canada with a total of 96.6 points. They are allocated to: "security" - 100; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 89.1; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 96.4.

4.Toronto,Canada

The authors from the Economist have gave Toronto 97.2 points, ranked by different categories as follows: "Security" - 100; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 97.2; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 89.3.

3.Vancouver,Canada

Leading the pack of the representatives from Canada is Vancouver.The overall result of the  city is 97.3 points, just 00.1 more than Toronto, broken down into different categories the result is as follow: "Security" - 95; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 100; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 92.9.

2.Vienna,Austria

The capital of Austria retains its position from last year's ranking. Vienna's overall rating is 97.4, broken down by different categories into "security" - 95; "Health" - 100; "Culture and environment" - 94.4; "Education" - 100; "Infrastructure" - 100.

1.Melbourne,Australia

Melbourne retained its first place for one more year, according to the study's authors, the overall quality of life is estimate at 97.5 out of 100. Melbourne was rated 100 points in the Health, Education and Infrastructure categories. In the category "Culture and environment", the city's estimate is 95.1 and in 95 in "Security".

No matter what of this cities you choose to live in, they are all wonderful and am sure that they can offer their inhabitant unforgettable moments and experiences, that cannot be detailed in any one blog, list or study.
