Decentralized emergency response is a reality thanks to FREE app "Cell 411" for Android and Apple phones.
Steemers, I want to tell you about an app that could save your life. "Cell 411" is a decentralized emergency response app that allows you to send alerts out to your friends/family/neighbors, or even the general public. Its built-in video streaming feature already saved at least one activist from jail. Best of all, it's programmed by a Cop Blocker and cryptocurrency enthusiast dedicated to the destruction of the idea of the nation-state.

It helps, but no, you could always send an alert via dispatch mode.
I would love to see cell411 (or a competitor of theirs) have sex with the steemit concept. The baby would be an adorable, market of mutual aid, private protection, and emergency response with financial incentive. Cell411 is great BUT there is one more step of evolution and @dan has the technology to pull it off.

I am sorry to say I discovered that it is not designed for tablets. From the developer:
Believe it or not this would require substantial effort. It sounds trivial but its not. And the rewards are minimal. Basically we have to stick to work that covers the latest number of devices and users for the least effort.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm not surprised. You'd think that if it's android and has a sim that it'd be a no-brainer. But a lot of apps don't work on the tablet.

Actually, still doesn't work. It says phones only. Mine has GPS and a sim chip, but it wouldn't let me load it.

It was broken on release. Never went anywhere. Cell 411 then came along and put it to rest.
