OLD SCHOOL DAY

Its always awesome remembering our great grandfather's ancient ways of doing things. I don't Knw how its been celebrated in other nations and continents but here in Nigeria, its always a memorable and fantabulous festival. This festival is celebrated annually and 13th June of every year marks the date for this fantabulous festival. Many Art works are being put in place during old school day festival as a way of expressing our ancient culture, many individuals appears in different attires during the old school day festival,

some prefers putting on haggard and tattard clothes which represent the farmer's ways of dressing during the ancient days,

while some do prefer putting on oversized coat and Congolese trousers which represent the ancient school headmaster's and teacher's ways of dressing.

Some ladies prefers painting their faces and bodies which also represent ancient women's ways of beautifying their bodies and faces.

Old school day is simply a day not to be forgotten, many dramas,funny plays and ancient stories never stop pouring, its a day one is being taken back to the days of tortoise and elephant, if there is a day that one would never want to miss,its simply no other day than old school day.
