remember
forgotten how to smile
every once in a while, you remember
but then you forget again.
every once in a while
you forgot how to smile...
when the rain came.
it washed away your smile.
leaking patience,
can't wait for the moment
when you will burst into flame
will start to sing.
every once in a while
you feel your heart.
the feeling that it brings
accept it within
you need to be happy.
let the sadness go
accept the smile, let it grow
every once in a while, you feel it
it keeps growing stronger.
until your heart makes you
remember how to smile
the world isn't such a dark
and dire place after all.
