Sunday agenda
This week’s Sunday Supper –
Butternut and ginger soup followed by Mediterranean roast lamb / stuffed courgette (v) both served with seasonal vegetable salad and baby potatoes. This week’s dessert is Lindt Chocolate Mousse.
Planned around loadshedding: The lamb is done on the Weber and we have a full gas stove. However, to accommodate loadshedding’s potentially restricting my options for keeping things warm, and cooking the vegetarian option, the sides for the main (except the potatoes) will be cold.
And then they announce no loadshedding for today...not sure I believe it, so better safe than sorry.

This was a wonderful menu! You do this all the time! I am wondering if there is a huge problem with the rolling power outages?? That would be horrific!

Thank you. Yes, a menu goes out weekly and if we have bookings, we do Sunday Supper @ The Sandbag House. On the attitude thing: if you can't control it, you have to make a plan and just get on with things. It's a waste of energy otherwise. Just pragmatic.

Mmmm, that stuffed courgette and all those veggies sound good to me! That's definitely got to be a challenge to plan out a menu when you may not have power! Phew, makes me anxious just thinking about it.
