This neat trick will end world hunger by the end of 2018?
Losing Battle
Speculative eyes scanning me
Am I friend or foe? less-ness is enemy.
Contemplative gaze bouncing off
on apathy I wore today to the shop.
leering lairs groan on the line
to go groan on some other line.
Stay put at the bottom.
The clouds itch the sky peeps
They've lost too much to give
They hope to find faith but fear
the alleys God wanders to cheer
his broken heart.
There are less lies in desperation
There in lies the less and the lessons
The least lease life on scraps of
suffering squeezed amply for hope
for lost losing it in clouds. lol.
This is my day 42 entry of the 100 days of poetry by @d-pend from SteemitSchool.
Very beautiful. Confusing in the first read, but beautiful in the second. :D
Glad you enjoyed. :)
I did. :)
Great illiteration. I love the 4th stanza, particularly the line, the clouds itch the sky peeps. Gives me an idea for my next poem.
Happy to help. ;)
