A great thought [EN version]
Lately I've noticed that everything around us happens so fast ... so fast that we do not even remember stopping to reflect on who we are! Yes, we spend a life without knowing ourselves, criticizing everything and everyone, labeling people, without realizing that to know others it is fundamental to know who we are, it is fundamental to know ourselves! We live in a society culturally marginalizing and become one more to follow the crowd.
After making my official presentation to the community (#introduceyourself), I was thinking to post my first article on a totally different subject, when accidentally, I opened my e-mail and saw a thought sent to me by my father, that make us feel small, and that remind us that it’s urgent that we become human again…
This thought belongs to Pope Francis, who I honestly do not follow, and I don’t know much about, but he got my attention for the greatness of this reflection, that has nothing to do with religion!
Let me quote:

It’s in these hours that the hospital touches the wounds of the people, that universes meet with a divine purpose and in this communion of destinies we realize that we are nobody!
The absolute truth of people, most of the time, only appears in the moments of pain or the real threat of ultimate loss.
Hospital, a place where human beings strip naked of their masks and show themselves as they are in their true essence.
This life will pass fast, do not argue with people, do not criticize your body so much.
Do not complain so much.
Do not lose your sleep because bills.
Do not stop kissing your loves.
Don’t worry so much about leaving the house so bright.
Assets must be earned by each one, do not dwell on inheritance.
Leave the dogs closer.
Do not watch your trophies.
Use the new cutlery.
Do not save your favorite perfume, use it to walk.
Spend your favorite sneaker, repeat to your favorite clothes, so what?
If it is not wrong, why not now?
Why not run away?
Why not pray now instead of waiting to pray before bed?
Why not call now?
Why not forgive now?
Expect a lot of Christmas, Friday, the other year, when you have money, when love comes, when everything is perfect ...
Look, the perfect thing does not exist.
The human being can not achieve this because it simply was not meant to be completed here.
Here is an opportunity to learn.
So take advantage of this life and make the present ...
Respect yourself, respect others; follow your path and leave the chosen path of others, respect, do not comment.
Love more, forgive more, embrace more, live more intensely and leave the rest in the hands of God.
