Game of Crap... "Scheisse" is Coming (No Spoilers! Just Pure Rant!)
Good God! That pretty much sums it up really. A show that had been the pinnacle of televisual excellence, burnt to the ground in the worst possible fashion. That being a true record in itself and something people (especially the fans) won't soon forget. What an abomination of a final season, climaxing in what is essentially a watery soup of four month-old diarrhea. D&D, we curse you to the very gates of hell!!!
What in the flaming fuck? Night King... Daenarys... Burning... Bran... Arya... Night's watch... My mind can't physically compute the mess this show rapidly devolved into. As is fast becoming common knowledge now, the script writers (a joke in itself) made up of David Benioff and D. B. Weiss turned down HBO's offer of a further three seasons, making ten in total. Oh no, these almighty pricks decided that pissing away the Star Wars franchise was much more of a priority and so not only decided to wrap it up in one season, but make it six episodes long.
Now, when I first heard of this decision many months ago, my initial reaction was "Really? Sounds a bit short if you ask me...". Anyways, I went with it as did the legions of fans across the globe. What a catastrophic mistake. Almost every episode in this season destroyed the one proceeding the last in terms of script writing atrocities. I've never seen anything this repugnant before and most likely never will. Breaking Bad "used" to be my favourite show of all time until GoT arrived, but has once again taken it's rightful place upon the iron throne.
Not sure what the studios plan to do now as they've apparently got three spin-off series in the works. Imagine how many people will be watching that after the disappoint of the original? As well as all those Blu-Ray and DVD boxsets about to be gathering dust on various retail outlet shelves.
Well, sorry but I thought I'd vent a little. Not just about that abysmal final episode but the season as a whole. I hear the petitions to get the show remade have already hit over a million. However unless they can figure out how to CGI the whole damn thing, I doubt it will ever happen. A crying shame, to put it mildly...

Yeah I've been ranting about it myself. It has been so disappointing. That said, I had given up on it long ago.
Look at those scores! The lowest ever score for a GoT episode before this season was 8.1...
I'm in total agreement. Since the series caught up with the books, it's been pretty much a downward spiral ever since...
At least it's a good motivation for people to read the book series. Hoping he gets TWOW finished soon...

It's a TV show after all and it of course departed from the books so what we saw was the producers, writers and directors take on the story. GOT has always been a story that has its difficulties and challenges.
Yes, it became a regular TV show. Shows how amazing the books actually are.

Does the GOT already contain various challenges and inaccuracies? We know that, but still deserves to be rated. No matter how disappointed you ask me, it's a great show.
Problem is the beginning seasons were so ahead of their time that it makes it pretty darn difficult to judge it by "regular TV" standards.
