Having fun at Beer Garden on Second Pentecost Day.
It was a day off for most people today in the Netherlands because of second Pentecost day.
And it's not the only second day we have after a Cristian holiday (day off).
We also have second Christmas day and second Easter day for instance.
Upon writing this I was wondering if the Netherlands was unique in this and it appears we are not.
Many countries seem to add an extra day here and there.
And I'm all for it.
Especially when the sun is shining and I'm invited to drink some beers with my friends.
And that's what Bianca and I did today.
We went to a place called the beer garden.
It's basically a square with tables and chairs and benches where they serve nice pints and food from stalls around the place.
Bianca had some nachos with jalapeños.
But me and Fabio settled for something a little more firm. The guy is still trying to grow his beard and it looks a little better every time! Although I'm wondering if he can keep it when his girlfriend gets back in 2 weeks :)
The sun was shining bright the whole day and beers were a welcoming treat. We spend the whole afternoon/evening there just laughing and having fun. Exactly like life should be from time to time.

Not that thin to be honest. I do train 5 days a week but the days where everything I ate would just burn straight away when I was younger are over. In general I eat pretty healthy in the week to offset these days.

I wish we had more Christmas days Hollidays. In NY it’s a nice sunny day as well. And you just reminded me there is a cold beer 🍺 in my fridge waiting for me. I just have to put together my backyard furniture and then relax.
It's finally nice in NY, I never thought Spring was going to start. It felt like winter was going to last forever. I love a beer on a nice sunny day, its depressing to drink when the weather is shit.

It already rained every freaking day this week! But yea, I'm pretty sure its supposed to rain again tomorrow lol.

A beautiful second day of Pentecost and great photos, my friend, when you are in the company of Bianca and friends, you can just have fun with a beer mug. It's always great, on such a sunny day, to get out of the house and spend time in a great place for socializing with friends, well done! Thanks Mark

By the way, I really liked the Netherlands last time when I was there.
I visited Brunssum festival.
I really liked architecture there (those bricked houses).
It's so much different from what I can see in Croatia.

We have extra holidays too. We have three days off for Easter, the Friday, Sunday and Monday making a really nice long weekend. And we have boxing day off too which is the day after Christmas day. 😊
