The Way to Redemption and Salvation - only Jesus Christ!

God's gift of salvation and forgiveness is given to us for free through Christ Jesus when He died for our sins, but we must receive it by faith. In Romans 6:23, Paul states, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Forgiveness is a gift of God, for He abounds in grace. Though we don't deserve this favour, God has still given this free gift to us because He loves us and He wants us to be alive in Him and in relationship with Him.

In Romans Chapter 6, Paul states that not because grace abounds, that we shall continue in sin. Certainly not! We must put off our old sinful nature, because that should have died when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. We must therefore be slaves of righteousness, not of sin.

Yes, no one is perfect. Everyone still falls short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ who redeemed us from our sins, and through His grace, we can still be connected to God our Father. The grace of God comes to us freely, through the redemption that is in Jesus. Christ bought it and paid dearly for our sins. Like I mentioned earlier, we don't deserve His mercy, grace and favours for we are all sinners.

But then, what is our response to God? When we say we love Him, we must walk by faith and obedience to Him - not just by words, but by our actions. To live in righteousness requires us to dwell in His presence always, so that we are guided by the Holy Spirit, and temptations will be easy to overcome.

I hope this message inspires you. We must always remember, not only during the Holy Week or Easter, but every day of our lives, what Jesus did on the cross, the price He paid to redeem us from our sins. On the third day, He resurrected, which proves that He is the Son of God and that He is the Resurrection and the Life.

Jesus is alive forevermore! Hallelujah!

Happy Easter! Χριστὸς ἀνέστη! Christ has risen!

I like this what you said because this is right!

But then, what is our response to God? When we say we love Him, we must walk by faith and obedience to Him - not just by words, but by our actions.

Faith without works is dead! An example that women and men should follow is this,

1 Timothy 2:9

9. In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10. But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Thank you. You're absolutely right. Paul emphasised that women should be marked by godly character and God-centred values, not by external and outward appearance. Women should dress properly and appropriately, not only when attending church but at all times, and that they should put emphasis on their godliness.

I agree with your opinion, the body is God's temple, so everyone has to act properly.
Happy Easter!!!

Wow! Great answer @eleftheriosart... Our body is God's temple!
But remember the word Easter is not in the Bible. Do not forget my friend what God said,

Deuteronomy 12:32
32 - Whatsoever you perceive to be the Lord's will, that you shall observe to do; you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Now, I mention it, I admit it was my mistake I should use the word Pascha, which is more accurate in the meaning. I have to apologize, English is not my mother language.
I make a search to find the meaning of the word Pacha in English:

Pascha comes from both the Greek and Latin words for “Easter,” the holiday that celebrates the day Jesus Christ rose from the dead. The verbal form of this word, pascho in Greek, means “to suffer.” Originally, the Hebrew word pasach referred to the Passover feast (Exodus 12) that was celebrated during the same week Jesus was crucified. In the Jewish tradition, Passover is 8 days long, beginning Nissan 15, to celebrate the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt.

Different religious traditions celebrate Easter at different times. The Western Church (both Roman Catholic and Protestant) celebrates Pascha or Easter on the Sunday immediately following the Paschal full moon of that year. This Paschal full moon is based on historical tables rather than lunar events. Easter always falls on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25. The Orthodox (Eastern) Church bases their Easter on a Julian calendar that they claim follows the ruling of the Council of Nicea.

Interestingly, in one passage of the New Testament, the apostle Paul refers to Jesus as “Christ our pascha Lamb” or “Passover Lamb.” First Corinthians 5:7 reads, “For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.” During the Jewish Passover, a spotless lamb was killed at sundown and roasted as a meal for the family in the home. At the first Passover, the Lord required that blood from the lamb be marked on the sides and top of the door of each Jewish family’s home.

In the New Testament, Jesus became the sacrificial lamb of Passover, which represented freedom and salvation for God’s people. In fact, some have observed that the blood on the posts and lintel of the door can be connected to form a cross. The cross has become the “door” that provides salvation for believers and causes death to “pass over” them.

Take care my friend, nice to talk with you!!!

Great info. Some is right and some is wrong belief. First christian celebrate Pascha or Easter. But that is not the right term from the Bible and it was easter or Pascha. Remeber that the language of Jesus is not Hebrew Language. Aramaic is the language of Jesus.

It was Holy Supper. And that Holy Supper is not literal. It is a spiritual holy supper.

can we continue in sin for grace to abounds....God forbid

He has paid it all on the Cross... Let's all drop all the sins that weighs us down...and run to Him

He said "Come unto me all that laboured and of heavy laden that He will give us rest" Today is the most acceptable day, tomorrow may be too late.

Thanks for sharing @evlachsblog

That's right. Jesus has already redeemed all our sins on the Cross. We also have to stop condemning ourselves when we sin (since it's inevitable, we can only strive not to sin and exercise self-control). 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. How amazing is God's love for us!!!

My purpose in writing my message is to inspire the readers that everyone will be reminded of God's great love for all of us. He wants real relationship with us through Christ Jesus. That's why Jesus rebuked the Pharisees during the time when He lived on earth as a Man. At the end of day, whether we are right or wrong in our interpretation of the Scripture, or how vast and accurate our knowledge is of history, it is not what God wants from us. God is after our hearts.

Have a blessed Resurrection Day! Thank God for His love, mercy and grace!
