Sunday Love-Hate Relationship
Sundays are great right? Most people have the day off, maybe they’ve gone out on Saturday and been active and now on Sunday it’s a relaxing day before another work week. Everyone sleeps in late, has a slow brealfast and then goes out for some light exercise or socialising. Weather is pleasant, nobody isn’t in a hurry, vibe is chill and all that. In theory Sunday’s are great.
But there is just something that makes me feel extra melancholy on a Sunday. Listening to Lana Del Rey’s newest album surely doesn’t help but that’s beside the point. I feel lonely on a Sunday and obviosly I haven’t done anything to offset the feeling and keep wallowing in it. I think I should stop being shy and procrastinating about social life and just book stuff for every Sunday. At least I went out for a long walk so that’s progress I guess.
We’ll see next Sunday.
Ps. See what I did there with the image? I saved one shot from yesterday’s set of self portraits so I could use it today instead of some shitty phone shot. Smart. So smart. Such professionalism.
Maybe, you could make it a tradition, Social Sunday’s? I’ve made it my self-care day, you could catch me with my nose strip and a bowl of ice cream. We could also talk ideas for our respective photo shoots and hash out master plans.. Decisions, decisions.

It doesn't have to be Sunday either. I think I listen to that one 10 to 15 times a week every week! Some alternative versions and covers by other artists are excellent too. (Sharon den Adel is my favorite cover. She's awesome!)

You are a man (yes I just assumed your gender!) many mysteries! Let me know how you like the new songs, I wasn’t too impressed with any other songs than the first single from the album.

Nothing, so far, that got in my head and I'd want to go back the next day to hear again. Summertime Sadness I loved right away and it was in my head the next day and I HAD to hear it again. Nothing like that on this one so far. Still only listened to about the first half of the album. Honestly, I got board. 😝
I feel the same. I’ve listened all the way through the album and hardly even noticed. It’s nice to have on the background when sipping wine and smoking, maybe reading, because it’s so mellow.
