No Balcony, No Problem (+ Rambling)
I don't have a balcony and it's not summer yet, but that doesn't stop me from getting some sun while I work. It's actually super warm in this stop right now because wind can't reach in between the buildings, one might almost mistake this as a summer day, but it's not more than maybe 12 degrees Celsius (thats "cold" in Fahrenheit) in the shade.
Every summer I have my big window open almost all day when I don't want to go to the beach and I want to enjoy some sun alone. My neighbours probably think I am mental, but I have no shame, I'll put on a bikini top and use this spot like it was my balcony. I eat, read and look at the sun for too long in here. Sometimes I even sunbathe naked on the floor because I'm pretty sure nobody can see me from the apartments across, pretty sure, but not certain.
I'm not actually a huge fan of going to the beach because if you gonna be there for long, you need to bring all sorts of snack and the drinks get warm, and there are often other people and and and what about the bathroom situation. I like hanging out home because the fridge is close and I never get bored because I have all the entertainment close to me. I have this well thought out routine if I'm free, in the city and it's sunny. I go down to the back yard to read and drink coffee in the morning, because the sun starts shining there from 10am, then when it turn to the other side of the house, the sun hits my apartment from 1pm until about 5pm. I know, I'm a fucking weirdo, but I follow the light, in life and in photography.
This summer will be the first summer since high school(?) when I'm fully free to go and do as I please, so I'm pretty damn excited. If the weather is nice, I have no need to travel abroad in search of a magical summer. I'll probably spend quite a lot of time in the countryside too, being a hippie child with dirty feet and tangled hair, or course photographing it all for you to see.
Okay, enough of me rambling, I just felt like doing a pretty random post for once, instead of carefully crafting a photographic story, or ranting... Hope you don't mind.
Random rambling is my favorite way of spending time, so I don't mind at all. On the contrary.
You definitely are the prince (not king yet because you are a teenager) of free writing and rambling, love it! :D

I know that feeling, ever since i started working from home I had the tough choice of sitting at my desk and being able to use my second screen and being extra productive or sitting on the balcony in the sun and doing some work. So i'll sit outside as long as my battery allows and then move back to my desk, it doubles as the little bit of exercise or i'd probably be glued to my desk chair all day
Sadly, We're going into winter here but i'm not complaining since we need the rain
I don't actually even own a proper desk, I mostly sit on my bed(hello bad posture) or use the kitchen table. I definitely have the same problem with getting clued to the same spot. How cold does your winter get? I bet it's never freezing :D
Lol I love the realness in your posts and comments, too damn relatable! That's such a bad habit sitting and working from your bed, I used to sit and work from bed until my back would hurt or my ass, bed sores is a real thing, though it was just for the sick.
I always had an old desk but ever since I decided to invest in a proper desk chair and force myself to exercise, shower and get dressed as if i worked at an office its gone much better
lol Yes our winters are remarkably mild a little overcast, some wind and rain but im a winter sports guy so i'll still be rocking the shorts! No need for indoor heating or any of that extra blanky on your bed some nights if you need it.
I remember the first time I experienced a European winter I froze my big African butt off, the cold blew right through my clothes, held my bones and froze me down to my soul lol! well at least that's how it made me feel.
I really do enjoy (most of) the people who hang out in my comment section, we have really good conversations and it's quite easy to find people that think and act the same way as I do. It's refreshing compared to the majority of the people in my "real life".
Gosh, I am so there with you, I hang out in my sweat way too much, especially considering that I own enough clothes for 10 people and I like to dress up. Now I'm trying to at last put on a pair of comfy jeans, a clean top and brush my teeth and get my ass off the bed. Feel much better like that.
Haha, the winter is like that if you don't know how to dress for it. The key is several layers of wool clothing, good shoes with wool socks and a jacket that is wind proof. And mittens, mittens are important!
I've not been using Steemit for that long but now and then i'll find someone who drops a cool post and have chat interesting chat more so than I would even do on my other social networks which I have somewhat abandoned of late. I'm getting much more information I feel is valuable and speaking to people that are interesting on steemit and who aren't afraid to share their views, which is refreshing

Lol you gotta set those boundaries for yourself and also make sure you go outside a bit, you can quickly suffer from cabin fever and become a recluse. I'll try every so often just to break things up and work from a shared office space or a coffee shop and practice my social skills lol
Indeed, my clothes from back home were absolutely useless, next time im there in Winter i'll be better prepared!

This is true, I tried editing outside in the sun and couldn't see the laptop, I need to figure a way around this!! Oh yeah, our winter has lasted around 8 months so far so we are SO ready for this warm weather, although I think its going to hit us all in one go!
Maybe we need to put some little umbrellas on top of the laptop for some shade :D It would be awesome to really work outside on pictures!

Yes I do! :) The only difference this summer is that I'm making a great income from steemit. Last summer I had no income. This time around should be alot more fun!

I love this! We too follow the sun though living in Thailand it gets too hot at times for me to truly enjoy it sort of defeating the whole purpose of following the sun. Oh well. We do our best. Anyways it was another great post! I really enjoyed reading it! Lots of love to you! 😘
