My Fiance and Her First Walleye!
The White Bass season was hot and heavy. Trolling spoons and crankbaits were yielding insane White Bass limits...but that was about to change.
y fiance, @bunnymoney, has always been a "unique" fisherman. Matter of fact, her first "fish" was a monstrous snapping turtle while cat-fishing in a backwoods swamp pond in Nebraska. I'll never forget that night...damn thing was Godzilla.
While trolling this "step" we found, her rod got slammed and after a decent fight she landed this.
Now this was a first for her, so she had no idea it had teeth..so you could imagine the reaction I got when I showed her.
After teacher her how to safely "gill" a walleye, we did the photo=op and sent her back into the lake and on her way.
A lot of memories made this year.
