Enterpreneurship is not easy as many people think. Many believe if you have the capital to start up you're good to go. But that's not really the case in reality, it takes a little bit more, having the capital is good and important but that's not all. To succeed as entrepreneur, certain skills are required.

They included:

1. Resiliency

This is the ability to weather the storm in times of difficulties and challenges. Every budding enterpreneur should have this at the back of their minds, there will be bad days while climbing up in the business. The ability to remain calm and calm the situation down is an important skill every budding entrepreneur should possess.

2. Focus

This is a very important skill some young enterpreneur fail master and end up leading the business south. In the course of a business distractions will always present itself tempting the enterpreneur to deviated from his original course of action and long term vision. Staying focused moves a business in the right direction and close to it's ultimate goal.

3. Invest for Long term

As an entrepreneur who dream of long term success, It's good to bear in mind that great things takes time and patience is paramount for the success of any business.

Several Young entrepreneur fail because of lack of patience, they dream of overnight success forgetting that nothing good come easy. As enterpreneur, the long term vision should always come first when making a business decision.

4. Managing People

A successful entrepreneur is one who his able to manage his employees and other resources available to his command properly. People i.e employees, partners should be treated well because by doing so the business grows and yield good results. People are to be treated right, failure to do so might lead to the downfall of a business. Networking is also very important i.e meeting the right people.

5. Learn

it's important to keep learning and be flexible with the market as it's ever changing to make it in the entrepreneurship journey. Enterpreneurs who thrive no matter the economic situation are the one keeps on learning and adapting to market trends.

6. Sell

Entrepreneurs who has excelled today are marketers or a sales person. Reason for saying this, to rise in the rank or succeed as an entrepreneur you must be marketable i.e have something to sell/offer, it could be your idea, product, services and to customers or investors for them to buy them.
