Back on Steemit
Hi Everyone! I'm starting to use as many social platforms as possible to see which one I like the best. I usually only use instagram, mainly because it's really convenient to use on mobile.
Anyways here's to new experiences and getting out of your comfort zone!
I saw that @johnspalding recommended Share2Steem below, and I just wanted to point out that another great option is Steepshot, an actual instagram-esque app you can download on iOS/Android that posts to the blockchain and has an intuative IG-style UI. For ease of use, I would think Share2Steem would be the way to go, but for looks/feel on the app and the formatting of posts Steepshot appeals more to me personally. In any case, welcome to our corner of the interwebs, there’s lots of ways to interact with this chain that are pretty cool - posting writing, videos, photos, music, etc. as well as tokenized exercise, games, and gambling apps. Hope you dig it here!

No, you can use steem connect but you basically set everything up here https://share2steem.io and then use the #share2steem tag to post.
Make sure to follow the instructions to link your accounts. Works with IG, you tube, and twitter.

Welcome to steem elias0ne! That's a cool picture you included. I see someone else already mentioned @share2steem and I would echo their sentiments, then you could keep posting there and just add the #share2steem tag when you get it set up and it will automatically post here to steem as well, though you should still log into respond to comments and such, but.. It would make your process a bit easier I'm sure!
If I could give you a few tips it would be to.. Find some communities or contests to be a part of, they can make your experience on here a lot more rewarding and enjoyable in my opinion. I would suggest @steemitbloggers as a good one and one that I'm a part of is the @ifc which is more of a contest but it's also a community as well of people who enjoy helping each other and competing in a friendly game.
After that I would suggest to socialize with others, visit other peoples pages and leave comments and try to make friends.. It might be useful to use the #introduceyourself tag to find and meet other new people as well. :)
And then finally just try to put out good content that people appreciate and grow your audience over time. It might be kind of quiet at first since you're just starting out and the crypto market has been kind of slow in general due to the lower values lately, though I think if you keep at it.. You might have some great results in time.
