Unexpected ride...

In the past few days, we have been testing a product that might be included to our menu - the Cinnamon loaf. It's supposedly an exercise for us to learn more about baking and the recipe that we came up to is something that seems to interest our friends and relatives. We just simply bake few loaves and give it to them for some feedback.

One of them shared it to her co-worker and actually liked the Cinnamon loaf and ordered one. We didn't realize that it tasted that good that we are already getting an order even if it's just the testing period. We didn't even worked out the price of it yet since we are not expecting any orders at this point.

It's a good thing that the order isn't in a rush because she only need it by this weekend for her husband's birthday. That gave us a bit of stress since this Cinnamon loaf that we are about to deliver by this weekend will be served to the ones attending the party. And it isn't supposed to happen yet.

After getting ourselves together and realize that it's just one piece of loaf and we could manage to pull-it off. Here came another order of 5 loaves! This really sets us to panic mode since we didn't expect for it to happen and it's also needed on the same weekend (tomorrow).

As mentioned earlier, we are currently at the testing stage and we don't keep enough inventory for a few more orders of loaf. One of our troubles is that we don;t even have the proper equipment yet. We are simply using the equipment that are only meant for a home kitchen which is the frustrating part.

As much as I want show more photos on what is happening to our kitchen, we only manage to capture a quick glimpse of it.
