Well! The first coat of ur painting is done which u have completed beautifully. I like the color u have used to paint. It gives shiny and lusturious appearance to it.
But i would suggest the other coating of paint to be of light golden color with golden coloured curtains covering the windows. The goden color may give it a attractive look and more reflective.
Since The roof of the room is simple, u could add the 0 volt bulbs of differnt colors at the corners of the room. The bulbs should lie half hidden in walls or coverd by the shelves like this

. In the corner, the raised part of the wall should be colored with some brick type artificial painting and the wall sided end of bed should have the cushion type extension on the walls.
