-_Drill Rescue Of Wounded In The Bottom Of The Sichar's Dam-Onda, Castellón_-

   These are some of the photos of the reservoir surroundings and the imposing construction of Sichar's dam in the town of Onda.

   Built in 1960 on the Mijares' river bed, has a 58 meters maximum height.

   The four jets that are seen in some of the photos, belong to the bottom springs, which evacuate about 60m3/s.

   Perfect location both to enjoy beautiful views in the middle of nature and to develop rescue exercises.

   After preparing and reviewing all the necessary facilities (meeting points, anchorages, etc...) and equipment (harnesses, carabiners, ropes...), we proceed to equip ourselves.

   The Platoon Leader supervises that the Team Leaders have everything controlled and in order.

   The teams begin to rappel down the steep wall of the dam to meet at the point where the wounded is located and to evacuate him through the safe area, to which we'll access through the assembly of a zip line.

   The exercise was a success in an estimated total time of about two hours and a half.

   The Head of the Exercise gave the approval and we returned the way back to Valencia, having previously left everything clean and collected in the reservoir and having reviewed and saved our equipment.
