Winter Storm = Snowmobiling!!
I've been watching the winter storm warnings all week, and it has finally arrived! This was the view from my bedroom window this morning...
...and my front door:
They said eight to fourteen inches, looks like for once the weather channel was spot on!
So what does that mean for us? Sledding! Of the motorized variety :) Here's a few minute clip from the GoPro strapped to @call-me-howie's head, roaring down back roads with my eldest stepson and his best buddy:

Enough to find reasons to appreciate the winter for sure :) I'm hoping we can get some downhill skiing in too, that's the winter sport I'm most fond of!

Here in Providence we got snow and rain, massive rain coming down now - and the temperature is still above freezing - though they forecast a rather cold night.

I love Providence! My cousin's husband grew up there and he loved taking us on tours of his stomping grounds (until they moved to Vermont a couple years ago, talk about coollldd)- I really love the stone walls that seem to be everywhere, high quality masonry :)
We live about twenty miles north of Ithaca, in between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes :)

It's super fun, but the temp is dropping right now, gets less fun when it's below zero with the windchill! (-20 celsius)

That and downhill skiing...once upon a time building snow forts, snow men, regular sledding and snow ball fights, but now pretty much snow mobiles and skiing ;)
