RE: The Pains of Being a Catalyst to Change
Why I like you: You are completely genuine. It bothers me that you lost powerful votes because it makes me question the character of those who would do that. You got a few facts wrong and granted you're style is a bit "in your face", but anyone who doesn't appreciate "what you see is what you get" is a bit suspect. I'll take loud and even abrasive if it's real over phony with a pretty face on it any day. I've been talking up steemit for weeks since I joined because I felt it didn't have the petty, empty and mindless flavor that other social media platforms are saturated with. This place has attracted a lot of truly great people that I've been elated to meet and form bonds with, but I hate to think that those with the most influence here are not of the same caliber.
:D I appreciate you taking the time to explain to me why you're a friend of KLYE!
I'm kind of crude at times.. Lots of people don't like that! But I'm not here to impress everyone. It's impossible.
You certainly do get to see more of people and their personality here on STEEM. It cuts the crap and the memes out of social media and focuses on human interaction.. Which is something nearly all people enjoy in some form or another.
In time the powers will shift here. The "bad eggs" will end up selling their STEEM Power to appease their greedy nature and those who've put in honest dedicated effort will take their place. :)
Thanks Dreemit. :)
